Your wedding day should feel just as good as it looks.
And the right photographer makes all the difference.
You want photos you love — but you also want to actually enjoy your day,
That’s where the experience matters.
My approach is a mix of candid and guided. I’ll step in when you need direction, and step back when you don’t — so nothing ever feels forced, awkward, or overdone.
I’m there to keep things moving, keep you grounded, and make sure you’re never left wondering what to do next.
Because the best photos don’t come from perfect posing — they come from feeling comfortable, confident, and fully present in what’s happening around you.

The goal isn’t just beautiful photos — it’s a day that actually feels like yours.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK TOGETHER
From the moment you reach out, everything is built to feel straightforward and taken care of — without turning your wedding into a production.

I’ll help you think through your timeline in a way that makes sense for your day, not just for photos, so nothing feels rushed or forced.
When it comes to being in front of the camera, you won’t be left to figure it out on your own. I’ll give direction when it’s needed, keep things moving, and then step back so the moments that matter can happen naturally.

On the wedding day itself, I’m paying attention to the details you don’t have time to think about — the timing, the flow, the little in-between moments — so you can stay focused on what’s actually happening.

At the end of it, you’re not just walking away with a gallery. You’re walking away with a version of your day that still feels like it did when you were in it.
A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING
You don’t need to have every detail figured out before reaching out. Whether you’re deep into planning or just starting to explore your options, here are a few things couples often ask before booking.
We're awkward in photos. What if we have no idea what to do?
Honestly? Almost every couple says this before getting in front of my camera for the first time. My approach is a mix of candid moments + gentle direction, which means you’ll never be left wondering what to do with your hands or feeling overly posed all day long.

I use prompts, movement, conversation, and guidance throughout the experience so your photos feel natural instead of stiff. The goal isn’t to turn you into models — it’s to help you feel comfortable enough to actually be yourselves.

What makes the QWP experience different?
For me, this experience goes way beyond just showing up with a camera. I’m there to help the day feel smoother, calmer, and more enjoyable from start to finish.

Whether that means helping build a realistic photo timeline, keeping family photos organized, fixing a veil, hyping you up before portraits, or stepping in when things feel stressful, my goal is always the same: helping you stay present + fully enjoy your day while knowing someone experienced has your back behind the scenes.

Why are engagement sessions worth it?
Engagement sessions are honestly one of the best ways to feel more confident heading into your wedding day. It gives us a chance to work together before the wedding, helps you get comfortable in front of the camera, and lets you experience my approach without the pressure of a full wedding timeline around you.

Most couples leave their engagement session saying some version of, “Wait… that was actually so much easier than we expected.” That comfort and confidence makes such a difference when wedding day arrives.

Do we have to be super traditional to work with you?
Not at all. Some couples want every tradition, some skip half of them, and most land somewhere in between — and honestly, that’s one of my favourite parts of modern weddings.

Whether your day looks like a big celebration, an intimate dinner party, a downtown city wedding, a destination weekend, or something completely unique to you, my approach is always focused on documenting the day in a way that feels authentic to your relationship instead of forcing moments that don’t fit.

There’s no “right” way to do a wedding day. The best photos usually come from couples who feel comfortable making the day their own.
How would you describe your photography style?
I’d describe my work as candid, effortless, + authentic with a true-to-colour editing style. I’m drawn to the moments that feel real — the energy, emotion, movement, and in-between moments that end up meaning the most years from now.

On a wedding day, my approach is a balance of documenting things naturally while also stepping in with guidance when needed. You’ll have photos that feel genuine and emotional without your day turning into one long photoshoot.

How many hours of coverage do we need?
Every wedding day is a little different, which is why I always help couples figure out coverage based on what moments matter most to them instead of pushing a one-size-fits-all timeline.

Most full wedding days typically land somewhere between 8–10 hours depending on things like travel, getting ready coverage, ceremony timing, and whether you want moments like late-night dancing captured. During the planning process, I’ll help guide you toward a timeline that feels realistic, relaxed, and intentional.

Do you help with timelines + wedding day planning?
Absolutely. While I’m not a wedding planner, I do help a lot when it comes to building a photography timeline that actually works well for the flow of the day.

After photographing weddings for years, I’ve learned how important good timing is for keeping the day feeling relaxed and allowing space for moments to naturally happen. I’m always happy to offer guidance, recommendations, and support throughout the planning process so you never feel like you’re figuring everything out alone.

What happens if something goes wrong on the wedding day?
Weddings are real, fast-moving days, which means flexibility and experience matter more than perfection. After photographing weddings for years, I’ve learned how to stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and keep things moving smoothly even when timelines shift or unexpected situations pop up.

I also come prepared with professional backup equipment, multiple memory cards, and systems in place to protect your images throughout the day. My goal is for you to feel fully present and taken care of — not worrying about what’s happening behind the scenes.

P.S. I am also a fully insured vendor that has no problem providing your venue with proof upon request.
